In a time previous to the fall of Lucifer, ascended beings known by several names watched over the creation left behind by the Creator being. A great conflict arose between these ascended beings and Lucifer.
The Crown device was designed by the celestial/ascended beings to help one of their favored kings who ruled on Earth before the time of Adam and Eve. It was the first crown ever created for an earthly king and it was his symbol of power. He used the crown device to help protect his people from an invading army ruled by an evil king. He also used the crown to help fend off a demon known as a jinn.
The crown device is an interface device between the human user and the control crystals.
The control crystals are the triangular jewels that fit into the triangular slot in the front of the crown.
Each jewel has a specific power.
White = The key of wisdom, as it is sometimes called. It allows the user to access information stored in the cosmic continuum providing they have some idea what they are looking for. Just by wearing the crown device with the white jewel in it opens the user's mind and sight to the spirits around them. They can literally see spirits and ghosts around them.
The user can also send out balls of energy known as "orbs" and can viewpoint through this energy. They can see what the orb sees just as if they were there in person.
This jewel also allows the user limited telekinesis and psychokinesis abilities. They can move things at a distance with their mind. They can also target another person or people and communicate directly to their minds. This jewel is the only known "manual" for the crown device. It is also the safest of all the jewels the crown uses.
Green = Is the key of healing. With this jewel a person can heal another injured person or animal and bring them back from the very brink of death. In the screenplay version of The Medallion Mystery, Megan brought a horse back to life. The horse had been dead for a few minutes but Megan didn't realize this and refused to give up.
This jewel also allows the user to see and even communicate with spirits around them.
Blue = Allows the user to send out "target" balls of energy to viewpoint with them in order to teleport from one location in time and space to another. It also has limited telekinesis and psychokinesis abilities.
The teleportation ability can be manifested in two ways. It can envelope the user and anything they are touching and transport them directly to the point in space and time they wish to go. It can also be used to create a doorway in space and time that a person can step through and be transported where ever the doorway leads. The doorway requires considerably more power than direct teleportation.
Yellow = Allows the user to morph or transform into other shapes. They can appear to be other people or even animals. In some rare instances they can even appear to become inanimate objects. In The Medallion Mystery, Megan transforms into water accidentally and then into a bird. Throughout the series she transforms into other animals at various times in order to help her friends.
Red = The most dangerous and feared of all the jewel keys that Megan has. A person wearing the crown using the red jewel is virtually indestructible. They can create and manipulate a powerful force field around them. They can call fire from heaven and hurl fire balls and lightning. Their strength is amplified in proportion to their will just as the force field around them.
Megan does not have the following jewels.
Gold = Has all the powers of white, green, blue in one jewel.
Silver = Has the powers of white, blue, red in one jewel.
These two jewels may have other abilities unknown at this time.
